Prihvaćeni sažeci svih priopćenja, kao i sažeci plenarnih i tematskih izlaganja bit će tiskani u Zborniku sažetaka. Sažeci trebaju biti napisani prema priloženim uputama i poslani tajništvu Kongresa do 30. travnja 2000. Pojedini sudionik može usmeno izložiti najviše dva priopćenja, a koautor može biti i na drugim priopćenjima. Kratke rasprave o posterskim priopćenjima odvijat će se unutar odgovarajućih tematskih sjednica. Do 31. svibnja 2000. autori će biti obaviješteni samo ako im sažeci budu odbijeni ili Znanstveni odbor predloži promjenu načina izlaganja.
Pozivamo sve autore da svoje radove, prikazane na Kongresu, pošalju za tisak u Periodicum biologorum, službeni časopis Hrvatskoga prirodoslovnog društva. Rok za slanje rukopisa je datum početka Kongresa. Rukopisi trebaju biti napisani u skladu s uputama autorima i prolaze uobičajeni postupak prije tiskanja.

Upute za pisanje sažetka

1. Sažetak treba pisati na hrvatskom i engleskom jeziku koristeći najviše 250 riječi u jednojezičnom tekstu, bez ikakvih grafičkih priloga.
2. Najprije treba napisati imena i prezimena autora, naziv i adresu institucije. Brojevima treba označiti pripadnost autora ako su iz razlčeitih institucija. Zatim slijedi NASLOV (treba biti napisan VELIKIM SLOVIMA) i tekst sažetka na hrvatskom te engleskom jeziku.
3. Sažetak treba sadržavati svrhu rada, materijal i metode, te rezultate.
4. Naznačiti broj teme (prema popisu u znanstvenom programu) kojoj priopćenje pripada.
5. Naznačiti željeni način izlaganja (usmeno priopćenje ili poster).
6. Naznačiti jezik (hrvatski ili engleski) izlaganja priopćenja.
7. Rad treba poslati tajništvu Kongresa u dva tiskana primjerka, te na disketi kao ASCII dokument (.txt file), ili elektroničkom poštom kao "attachment" na E-mail adresu abstract@botanic.hr do 30. travnja 2000. Na disketi može biti poslan i veći broj sažetaka. Dokumente imenujte koristeći najviše osam prvih slova prezimena prvog autora, uz odgovarajuću numeraciju ako isti autor ima više priopćenja.

Accepted abstracts of oral and poster presentations, as well as abstracts of plenary and thematic lectures, will be published in the Proceedings of Abstracts. All abstracts should be typed according to the instructions below and sent to the Congress Secretariat by April 30, 2000. Not more than two oral presentations can be given by each participant. Posters will be briefly discussed in the corresponding thematic sessions. If the Scientific Committee suggested a change to the mode of presentation, or in case the abstract was rejected, the authors will be notified by May 31, 2000. Otherwise, no notification will be sent.
We invite the authors to submit their papers presented at the Congress for publication in Periodicum biologorum, the official journal of the Croatian Natural Society. The deadline for the submission of manuscripts is the opening day of the Congress. Manuscripts should be written in accordance with instructions of the journal and will undergo regular review procedure before acceptance.

Instructions for Preparation of Abstract

1. The abstract should be written in English, and text should not exceed 250 words. No graphics within the abstract are acceptable.
2. Type the name(s) and surname(s) of the author(s), institution and address. Use numbers to indicate authors' addresses if they are different. This should be followed by the TITLE (should be typed in CAPITAL LETTERS) and text of the abstract.
3. The abstract should include purpose of the study, material and methods, and the results.
4. Indicate the related topic number (according to the list in the Scientific Program).
5. Indicate the preference for mode of presentation (oral or poster).
6. Indicate the language of presentation (Croatian or English).
7. Mail two copies of your abstract together with an ASCII file (.txt file) on a diskette to the Congress Secretariat, or by electronic mail as an "attachment" to the following E-mail address abstract@botanic.hr by April 30, 2000. More than one file could be sent on a diskette. Please name the files using not more than 8 first letters of the presenting author's surname, with appropriate numeration in case that the same author will present more than one abstract.
