Goran Sušić, Ph.D.

Dr. Sušić is a ornithologist with expertise in biology and conservation of raptors, and a director of the Ornithological Station Cres of the Institute of Ornithology, Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. The research of Dr. Sušić and his team primarily focuses on ecology and conservation biology of griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus), biodiversity conservation and the sustainable development and use of natural resources. He is also a founder president of the Eco-centre Caput Insulae Beli - Society for the protection of natural and cultural heritage, through which he is strongly engaged in numerous educational and public awareness activities aimed at biodiversity conservation.
