Croatian Biological Society is voluntary, nongovernmental, non-profit organization of biologists with following goals:

- support the scientific and professional work in the field of biology
- improve biology teaching through educational system
- acquire the newest theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of biology
- work on protection and conservation of nature biodiversity and environment
- represent the best interest of its members (employment, the status of biologists in the society etc.)
